HARD HILL ROAD

Hard Hill Road

The Hard Hill Road Shiraz is made only in special years and displays the subtle majesty of its terroir. Old vines, low-intervention winemaking techniques, low-fertility soils, brisk winds, and cool ripening conditions conspire to produce a wine of wonderful intensity and balance.

The 2005 Hard Hill Road Shiraz displays a fabulous combination of cassis, black cherry, cedar, and pepper spices, as well as hints of violets and liquorice. These rich flavours and the fine, silky tannins make for an elegantly structured wine that is soft enough to enjoy now and robust enough to cellar for another five to 10 years.
