Our Story
Nestled beside a eucalypt forest overlooking Australia’s majestic Grampians ranges, A.T. Richardson Wines is based just outside the township of Great Western, Victoria, approximately 200 kilometres west of Melbourne. The Grampians is one of Australia’s most historic wine regions, renowned for producing elegant, complex, and intense wines. It also happens to be home to some of the greatest rock climbing in the country.
After a ten-year search, winemaker Adam Richardson selected his Hard Hill Road Vineyard site for its perfect marriage of his two passions: sensational cool-climate wines and outstanding rock climbing. Here, Adam produces Shiraz and Riesling in two distinct styles: The Hard Hill Road series is crafted to demonstrate the very special terroir of the vineyard, while the Chockstone label celebrates the high-spirited pursuit of adventure.
In A.T. Richardson Wines, you will taste the rich and enticing flavours of the Grampians and get caught up in the excitement of wine, adventure, and life. |
