Cool-Climate Wines
Some of the world’s greatest wines are grown in cool climates, such as the microclimates of the Grampians region, where the temperatures are just adequate to fully ripen the grapes. These climates result in low yielding vines with highly concentrated flavors that make wines of wonderful structure and complexity.
These same conditions also produce wines that have a dramatic aging potential with layers of intense flavors and a soft, velvety structure. The wines are very approachable in their youth, but age gracefully long into the future.
Screwcaps
Adam has bottled all of his wines using screwcap closures. The revolution that winemakers have been waiting for has finally struck. The age of cork is gone! With the screwcap closure, you will no longer lose those carefully cellared bottles to cork taint. And what’s more, because of an almost perfectly airtight seal, you can look forward to significantly longer bottle aging potential of screwcap wines. |
