Chockstone
Not only is the Grampians a sensational wine growing region, it also happens to be home to some of the best rock climbing in Australia. Indulging two of his passions; cool-climate wines and outstanding rock climbing, winemaker Adam Richardson named his Chockstone wine series for the wedged rocks often encountered by climbers on a cliff face. The excitingly rich and vibrant Chockstone wines reflect Adam’s spirit of adventure.
Chockstone Riesling
The Chockstone Riesling is always refined and minerally. The delicate aromas of wildflowers and citrus blossoms that dominate the palate are a result of the ironstone and quartz soils. The Chockstone style combines a firm acidity and flinty dry finish that produces a focused and seamless palate.
